Demolition work has begun on the Leopoldstrasse 218 housing estate in Nordschwabing. A new building with approx. 233 apartments and underground parking is planned in two further construction phases.
The housing estate on Leopoldstrasse in Munich's Nordschwabing district, which dates back to 1939, is getting on in years and no longer meets today's requirements for contemporary and sustainable living.
The construction of the new building in stages will enable the existing tenants to move within the neighborhood. The contemporary housing mix creates a cross-generational offer of 1-4 room apartments with attractive floor plans and high energy standards.
Planned as an efficiency house N40, the aim is to achieve DGNB Gold certification and the Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG).
