DMG Mori is a high-tech company and operates internationally as a market leader in the development and manufacture of CNC machine tools. With the highest technological standards, it is committed to its responsibility towards CO2 neutrality and wants to express this in its new European headquarters.

The building is therefore designed as a timber hybrid construction, a high-tech construction method with a high degree of prefabrication and a good ecological balance. The innovative architecture thus becomes an anchor of identity and expresses its claim to sustainability, clarity and efficiency.

Floor Plan

The communal restaurant and private dining area are located at the head of the building. It is directly connected to private, high-quality terrace areas. An adjoining air space provides a direct visual link to the showroom below.

The showroom forms the heart of the building and is positioned on the street to attract the public. It is connected to the main entrance at the front, the lobby, and can be used flexibly with DMG Mori products.

The architectural concept of the building and its aspirations are also continued in the office areas.

Design Language

The entire building structure is designed for maximum flexibility in room utilization. The use of climate-neutral, renewable raw materials meets the demand for sustainability. The design language creates clear and calm spaces, which are naturally lit by a generous glass façade.

Generous air spaces and an intensively planted roof terrace allow direct visual references to the showroom. Employees and visitors to the building are thus in constant contact with the core of the company, the products, and perceive the building as a true anchor of identity.
